More Spinning

I am getting lots of spinning done for the Tour.
I spun these two skeins for a sweater for my hubby!





I also spun some very pretty singles!

Spinning for the Tour

I spun from a batt yesterday! I tried core spinning! It is so not for me to slow! But I did make a bracelet with the finished yarn.



I used the rest of the batt to spin this skein! I love it!

I made this!

Okay I know it is just yarn, but I love it so much I don't even want to knit it:)
I bought the fiber from a great dyer on etsy Wooly Panda Workshop. The colorway is Plum-Headed Parakeet, I got 338 yards of heavy fingering weight yarn out of 4 oz of Polwarth Top!







I love it and have no idea what to make! Any ideas????

Recent Spinning!

I have been spinning, spinning and more spinning for the Tour De Fleece. My shoulders are sore but I with soldier on. Here are some recent skeins and a picture of my new wheel. I sold the Matchless so that I could buy this one!

The boy is fencing again!
And yes that is me spinning in a huge room filled with a couple thousand fencers and their families!

It's A Boy Sweater

It needs buttons still, but the sweater is done! What do yo think? I like it and I hope the baby boy does too!

It's A Boy

My latest handspun is called It's A Boy! I spun this up out of 4 oz of superwash merino in my Tanya colorway. I am going to knit a baby sweater out of it for a friend that is have a baby boy!






350 yards sport to DK weight Superwash Merino lamb's wool!
Ohh ans it is 3 ply! Yummy!!!!
