Mini Bump Fair Isle Kits

I dyed up some semi solids in small amounts for fair isle kits:) I really think they are lots of fun! I am planning on designing a pattern to go with them sometime in the future but I have lots of knitting I have to get done first:)

Forest Has A Long Memory

I just finished spinning up this beautiful fiber dyed by Spinning Awesome Good:) The color name is Forest Has A Long Memory. I got 254 yards out of 4 ounces of Superwash Merino. The yarn is DK weight and I have no idea what I will make out of it! I am sure I will come up with something good!

Dyeing Sock Yarn Adventure

Okay for a while now I have had some lovely friends and customers begging me to dye sock yarn and I have resisted:) But yesterday I caved! I purchased 6 skeins of Merino and Silk fingering weight sock yarn to play with:) Boy this was fun! SHHHH don't tell anyone, but it was way easier then dyeing fiber!

So this is what I got with three off my favorite colorways!

Another UFO Bites the Dust!

I am so excited:) Another UFO bites the dust!!! For those of you who don't know already UFO, in this instance it stands for unfinished object:) I finished Gregory's socks this morning and that makes 3 UFOs that I have finished in the new year! I promised myself that I would finish 12 UFOs this year:) Some of them are very big so I am getting the small ones out of the way quickly.
So here are Gregory's socks, knit from my handspun in the Gregory colorway!

Oh and yes it is foggy out this morning:)Just in case you noticed the fog in the background of the picture.

New Socks

I fell in love with the Paul Atwell Socks that the Yarn Harlot knit just before Christmas, so I added them to my list:) This pattern is really easy to memorize and lots of fun to knit! I knit a lots of masculine socks for the very spoiled hubby:) I thought these would fit the bill nicely! The yarn is from my friends over at Frog Creek Fibers and they promise me they will add some things to their shop soon!
