Walk With a Friend

My dear friend Joann and I have been walking in the mornings. It has been quite nice to get out and move my body. I also love the company and of course nature!




Oh and we are both wearing handspun hats and mittens in the picture of us:)
Okay I am off to get some more knitting done:) Four UFO's left! Woot!

I finished the Mitered Squares Afghan last night! I love it! I am down to 4 UFO's! Woot!

Another one Bites the Dust!

I finished Bill's sweater that was supposed to be his Christmas gift! I have had all the knitting done except the collar since Christmas eve! I really don't like seaming and that was the hiccup! This is a Kim Hargreaves design called Jarrett. I like how it knit up. I am so pleased to be finished:)

Oh and the Hubby is slouching in this photo and the weather is not great for taking pictures today but I had to share!

My Juno Regina that I turned into a cowl:) I had two different dye lots and I didn't like how they were working together! This sat on hold for a couple of years and I decided to make it a cowl.

Finished Some Socks

I finished my February socks. This is the handspun BFL that I showed you a few weeks ago. They turned out a little small for me:( Oh well they will fit someone!

Spun To Weave

I finally finished spinning my 5oz of BFL that my friend Miki from Fun House Fibers dyed for me! Now I just have to wait for it to dry so that I can weave it into some fabric to make a bag!!! I am so excited:)

New In My Shop

I just listed a couple braids of fiber in my shop:) I really love this merino. I am also a little mad at it though! I have been trying to dye up a special order and it just isn't coming out how it is supposed to. At least I am getting some really pretty fiber trying!

So my other FO for the week is the black lace scarf that was my sisters Christmas present! I gave it to her half done and it took me a while to finish it!!! I think it turned out really nice but I will never knit black lace weight yarn in a lace pattern again!

January Socks!

I finished my January socks last night! Whew I barley made it! The yarn is Pagewood Farm and I really love how they knit up.


Oh and I finished something else yesterday and hopefully I can get a decent picture so that I can share it with you tomorrow!
