Christmas Knitting Update!

So I did get it all done:) The last item was a sweater intended for my middle son, I had him try it on with the body and one are done and it was a little snug:( So I decided to give it to his best friend at the last minute. So I gave my self a bit of a knitting break on Christmas Eve and I finished the sweater Christmas morning. His best friend just happens to be my best friends son and they come over every year on Christmas so I gave it to him that afternoon and he loved it! So I got it all done in the nick of time this year and I am looking forward to knitting and spinning what I want to for a while:)

Sorry I didn't take pictures I was to worn out:)
My little son who got a sweater has been wearing his everyday and I might have to pry it away from him to wash it:) Love It!

More Thorpe knitting!

Okay I think I finished my last two Thorpe hats!!!!! I spun for one and the other is made out of Berroco Comfort Chunky:)They both turned out really nice:)

I am almost done with the Christmas list! I have two large items and two small items left to knit! I really hope that everyone appreciates what they get! I don't know if non knitters and spinners realize how much the materials cost and how much time and effort goes into the knitting. It seems like people don't put much effort or thought into the gifts they give these days! I love giving and getting gifts:) I get almost nothing for Christmas though, my husband does not do gifts well! Most years I get nothing. Every year when I am nearing the finish of my list I consider not making anything for anyone for next Christmas! I am sure it will pass:)

This weekend's spinning!

I spun up some nice fiber that I bought from Midnight Purls. I think it will make a great Thorpe for another boy in my life:) I feel like I don't know enough girls at the moment!

I also spun up these 4 mini skeins at a DK weight 11 WPI! I am making Fair Isle Hat kits for my shop:) I just need to design the hat now and they will be ready. I should clarify they are spin to knit kits:) I think that they will be really fun!
