I just finished another UFO!!! I am feeling so good about all the unfinished projects that are getting finished this year. This little scarf is knit from some beautiful Toots LeBlanc Angora and Merino. It is SOOOOOOOO soft and it has a wonderful halo. I love it!!! This also means that I have finished another Christmas gift and I am moving on that list as well as the UFO list, woot!

Tulips
Yesterday was my hubbies b-day! We decided to go to the Tulip fields for our outing. It was quite windy and cold but very pretty. The kids had a blast and the grandparents that are visiting enjoyed it too!
I finished another UFO on the plane and I will have pictures for you tomorrow.

Walden
So I only took pictures one day out of 6 that I traveled. I took a lovely walk around Walden Pond and I had to get a picture of my knitting and the pond. There is a very nice 1.7 mile walk around the pond, the only problem I found is that there is a wire fence on either side of the trail to keep walkers on it! It took away from the beauty a little.
I am at the airport waiting to board my plane and I am so ready to be home and sleep in my own bed:) Although the bed I slept in this week was very comfy!

Something finished!
I finished up the orange T-Shirt out of Berroco Seduce last week and I just got around to taking a picture of it this morning. I really love how this turned out and I am considering making a second one in another color. I am a big girl and it only too 7 skeins:)
I also have some beautiful cormo locks that I need to wash up for the fleece to shawl project that I am working on. Check out the crimp on these locks!
Oh and I finished a UFO yesterday and it is blocking! Here is a sneak peek, I hope I can get some good pictures outside because it is gorgeous. I will tell you what it is and all about it tomorrow:)

Locks to Yarn!
I spun up all the dark brown cormo batts that Eliott and I carded up the other day. I N-plied them into this very lofty sport weight yarn! I love it! 220 yards of woolen love!
It has been a wonderful sunny day today, yes I said SUNNY! I spent part of it in my yard spinning on my beautiful wheel and listening to a great book on tape! Happiness:)

Silky Wrap
For the last week I have been knitting myself a wrap out of 4 colors of Silky Wool. I love this yarn! I can't say that enough times:) I am quite pleased with the very simple wrap that I created. I will write up the pattern soon, just in case anyone else wants to make one. It is very simple, the edge is the only part that would be helpful to know how to do.
I am also spinning up some of the Cormo that we were carding the other day. It is quite nice. I have a feeling that I am going to love the finished yarn.

Wool Adventures
We are cleaning and carding wool at my house today! The boys really like using the drum carder, I don't so that works out in my favor! We are carding up some Cormo Cross Locks and some Merino that I washed yesterday! I have three beautiful natural colors that I am planning to spin up and then make a shawl. I will keep you posted on the progress!
On another note I finished spinning this skein of sock yarn last week and I am really excited about making socks out of it! Now I just have to spin the other half!
Oh and next week I will try to tell you all about UFO Mondays! So far this plan is working great for me! I made huge progress on one of my UFO's yesterday!
