BFL On the Bobbin!
I have some Superwash BFL on the bobbin! I am spinning up three lengths and am going to make a three ply yarn for socks. BFL holds up really well for socks, it is very sturdy! The only problem is I don't really enjoy spinning BFL, but I really like making socks especially socks out of handspun yarn! So I guess I can put up with spinning superwash BFL.

Comfy Cabled Throw MKAL!
I am so excited to be hosting another MKAL ! Here are all the details! Hi Everyone, Let’s party some more! 2020 has not been a normal yea...

This might be a silly question but what does BFL stand for? Why is it tricky to spin? I like the colors.
ReplyDeleteIt is actually really easy to spin but I don't like it because the finished yarn is hairy:) It stands for Blue Faced Leicester, it is a type of sheep!
ReplyDeleteGotcha :) Thanks for the info!
