Socks are one of my favorite things to knit. Not fancy socks just plain old socks. It is the kind of knitting that puts me into a relaxed state. I love them. I can do so many things and still be knitting socks!

I finished these up last week and I really like them. I used the new Toe -Up Techniques for Hand-Knit Socks book. I highly recommend it.

They are very pretty? Do you knit one or two at a time?? I can't seem to make myself do the second if I do one at a time.... but I need some easy mindless knitting projects for taking along places... Lace and lace 2 at a time socks just aren't the right projects for that... any ideas?
ReplyDeleteI like to knit one sock at a time. The trick to finishing the second sock is is to cast on for the second as soon as you cast off for the first!!! In my knitting bag that I always have with me I will have between 3 and 5 projects. Then I always have lots to choose from.
